DR. AARON CHIAM

“Helping patients with their visual needs is a real passion of mine. The one thing I enjoy most about primary practice is building a connection with my patients and taking the time for them to understand their ocular health. On the surgical side, it always brings great joy to see post-operative patients as I get to hear how much of a positive impact their new vision has had on their life.”

Dr. Chiam attended the New England College of Optometry while working with Boston University’s School of Medicine researching retinal microvascular abnormalities.

Upon graduating, Dr. Chiam returned to Vancouver, British Columbia to practice in primary care optometry. He joined Dr. Joseph King at King LASIK in Burnaby providing pre and post-operative laser vision correction care. He also worked for Sears Optical providing complete eye care including contact lens fitting and dispensing glasses. He was pleased to join Fraser Valley Cataract and Laser in 2017 to continue primary care as well as medical optometry.
